At Kay & Jee Christian Academy, we are committed to providing a diverse and comprehensive range of educational programs to meet the unique needs and preferences of our students. Our learning options include programs offered in the physical learning center, the virtual classroom through ACEConnect, and our Home School program. Here is an overview of the programs available in each learning setting:
Elementary
Elementary school is the foundational stage of a child's formal education, typically spanning from kindergarten through fifth grade. It serves as a critical period during which young learners begin to explore the fundamentals of various subjects, laying the groundwork for their academic journey.
Middle School
Middle school, often considered a crucial bridge between elementary and high school, is a transformative stage in a student's educational journey. Typically spanning grades 6 to 8, middle school is a time of exploration, growth, and academic development. Students delve deeper into subjects, encountering a more diverse curriculum that prepares them for the challenges of higher education.
High School
High school is a transformative phase in a student's educational journey, typically covering grades 9 to 12. It represents a crucial period of academic, social, and personal development, preparing students for the challenges of higher education or the workforce.
Kay & Jee Christian Academy takes pride in recognizing the unique gifts and talents of each student. Understanding that diversity is a strength, we offer three distinct high school graduation programs to cater to individual aspirations, learning styles, and career paths. Our graduation programs are designed to ensure that every student receives a customized educational experience that aligns with their goals. Here's an overview of the three graduation programs:
(1) College Preparation High School Graduation Program
The courses on this level are classified as High School Level and are on the advanced level of instruction. Students completing this course of study in the Private or Public School would be considered to be on the Advanced level.
The College Preparation Graduation Program is for the student who plans to attend college and is able to complete the more advanced subject areas of the curriculum. The student is placed on the College Preparation Program and earns credit as the course requirements are met. College Preparation Courses are on an advanced academic level.
(2) General High School Graduation Program
Courses on this level are mostly college preparation and High School level courses. This level requires core course and elective completion required for graduation.
The General Graduation Program is for the students who are on a general academic learning level. Students graduating on this level may still attend college, however, may be required to take remedial courses upon college entrance if their high school program did not contain higher Math, English and Science courses before graduation with our High School Curriculum.
(3) Vocational Graduation Program
The Vocational Graduation Program is for the student whose learning program is concerned with building basic learning skills, completing the more remedial levels of core subjects, and who will not plan on attending college.
